Story of space exploration is the story of great achievements of the USSR. The Sputnik opened the sapace age on October 4, First ever human in space, Yuri Gagarin, started his exciting travel as a 1st Lieutenant, and landed as a Major of the Soviet Airforce.

Those who will make it to visit the exhibition in the Science Museum, will see:

  • the capsule of Vostok 6, flown by Valentina Tereshkova, the first ever woman in space
  • the capsule of Voskod 1, used on the first mission to carry more than one crew member
  • LK-3 Lunar Lander: a single cosmonaut craft built within the Soviet Lunbar program to compete with Apollo
  • a collection of gadgets that cosmonauts — and pioneering space dogs — need to live in space, including a shower, toilet, medical instruments and survival kits for crash landings.

I am absolutely sure 14 pounds is more than reasonable price for a possibility to travel through the wonderful story of our legendary space program.

And yes, I hope it is just a beginning of the long and glorious story of mankind travelling through the Solar system, Milky Way and beyond.
